What we can learn from plants

Over the course of the years, I've grown to have a green thumb. I vividly remember actually taking care of my favorite plant as a child, gifted by my Big Mama. Still to this day I don't know what kind of plant it is, but all I know is that I love it dearly. As of recently I bought new potting soil to turn over the old and to infuse it with new--nutrient filled, oxygenated yummy goodness. I don't have a name for this plant, but to me she has feminine energy, therefore I refer her as such. I see her giving back to me in ways I've never imagined. She grew a new leaf after she lost one--she still remains resilient in her ways. 9 leaves and counting. I make sure to water her every other day, if not every few days if her soil is too saturated with moisture. She tells me what she needs and I speak back to her and her other plants friends. It's a whole community of collected foliage received as gifts, impulsive buying, or funerals. Above of all, she is my beloved. Take care of yours.
